Customer demand for a better pump start relay prompted the beginning of Munro Manufacturing Inc. The SmartBox by Munro was developed in 1988 to provide a pump protection alternative. Continual adaptation and new applications caused the development of a full line of UL listed pump start relays (featuring “Munro” UL listed contactors) and UL listed pump protection panels. Mag-start pump control panels were added to the line to offer motor control up to 300 hp. Munro Manufacturing also offers pump accessories, including mechanical shaft seals and PVC foot valves.
