The heavy duty industrial three and five horsepower Munro BMLS Series pumps are engineered to exacting standards. These sturdy cast iron pumps are driven by a double ball bearing JM motor (which sports a 1.25" shaft) instead of the usual 56J motor. They are available in high or medium head series to accommodate a wide spectrum of pumping applications usually only covered by higher horsepower pumps. The suction flange includes a flapper style check valve. The impeller, diffuser, brackets and volutes are all made of cast iron.
All BMLS series pumps are made in America and serviced in the Munro Supply Inc. repair and testing facility in Grand Junction. In some applications we recommend the use of a foot valve.
